They can help patients to achieve results in as little as six months Where the traditional system uses metal posts and wires, the Six Month Smiles system makes use of small tooth-coloured wires that allow for more discretion while the braces are in place.
There is minimal discomfort felt. Any that is experienced will be related to patients getting used to wearing the braces, and of course once the teeth start to gradually move into position. Teeth are moved gently, but at a faster steady rate compared to other orthodontic options.
This braces system uses the standard orthodontic mechanics that get results, but offers an emphasis on the cosmetic results. Traditional braces can be used to fix overbites, underbites and other jaw concerns. Six Month Smiles braces fix largely cosmetic issues.
This orthodontic solution makes use of the latest in orthodontic technology and dental techniques. Patients will benefit from safe and quick results.
What are some of the other orthodontic options?
There are several other orthodontic solutions available. Each has its own pros and cons. We find that many of our patients are interested in comparing Six Month Smiles vs. Invisalign.
Both types of braces offer wearers a discreet way to get a beautifully straight smile. Perhaps the primary difference is that Six Month Smiles braces are fixed to your teeth for the duration of the treatment. The Invisalign system uses a series of removable trays that will need to be switched out on schedule, every few weeks.
Both types of braces are very effective at helping patients to get straight teeth. However, it can take a bit longer to achieve the desired results with the Invisalign system.
The benefits offered by the Invisalign tray-based system can make it a great choice for some patients. Others may find that the Six Month Braces system is a better choice because patients will see results much sooner.
